Retractable Dog Lead: More Freedom for Little Legs
Small dogs love to explore, but a short lead keeps them tucked at your heels, and a long fixed lead ends up tangled round your ankles. The ErgoGrip retractable dog lead extends smoothly as your dog wanders and winds back neatly as they return, so your puppy can sniff every lamppost while you stay in control.
Picture a Sunday morning in the park: your Cockapoo pottering along the path, then trotting off to investigate a pile of leaves. One press of the button and you lock the lead at the perfect length.
Easy Control at the Touch of a Button
Smooth Automatic Retraction
The automatic mechanism lets the cord extend and retract smoothly as your dog moves, so there's no slack dragging on the ground and no tangles. Choose 3 m for pavements and town parks, or 5 m when you're out in open spaces.
Ergonomic, Non-Slip Handle
The ErgoGrip handle is shaped to sit comfortably in your palm, with a non-slip grip that helps you keep hold, even on drizzly walks. A one-touch button lets you lock the length instantly when you need your dog close.
Made for Small Dogs and Puppies
Lightweight and Compact
At just 230 g and 18 x 11 x 3 cm, the lead is light enough for long walks and compact enough to pop in a bag or coat pocket. It's designed specifically for small dogs and puppies, from Chihuahuas and Yorkies to Pugs and Westies.
Durable Nylon for All Seasons
The nylon cord is made for frequent outdoor use and copes with British weather all year round, from frosty winter mornings to warm summer evenings.

Frequently Asked Questions
Which length should I choose?
Choose 3 m for pavements, town parks and puppies learning to walk on a lead, or 5 m for open parks, fields and beaches where your dog can explore further.
Is it suitable for large dogs?
No. It's designed for small dogs and puppies. For bigger or stronger dogs, have a look at our braided rope dog lead or reflective dog lead.
How does the lock work?
Press the button on the handle to stop the cord at the length you want, and release it to let the lead extend and retract automatically again.
Can I use it with a harness?
Yes. The clip attaches to any collar or dog harness D-ring. For small dogs, a harness is often more comfortable than a collar.
Is it suitable for puppies?
Yes. It's lightweight and gentle, making it a good choice for puppies getting used to walks. Keep the lead locked short while they learn.
What is your returns policy?
We offer a 30-day money-back guarantee. If you're not completely satisfied, get in touch and we'll arrange a refund or exchange.
How quickly will it arrive?
Orders are dispatched within 1 to 2 business days from our supplier's warehouse in China, and most orders arrive in the UK within 9 to 13 working days of being placed. You'll receive a tracking number by email as soon as your order ships. Delivery is free on orders over £44.
